4worldlovers: Radford School is proud to announce Dr. Blanca Garcia has been hired as Assistant Director of Elementary Instruction. Dr. Garcia was previously an Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools in EPISD and comes to Radford with thirty-nine years of experience in education from the classroom to campus and central office administration. Blanca specializes in educational administration and will be responsible for evaluating and coaching Elementary instructors and students.

Marcela Lozano became the first Track & Field champion in Radford history. Marcela is also the only double gold medal champion from a school competing in their first ever TAPPS Track & Field Championships. She won gold in the 200m and 400m at both the TAPPS North Regional meet and the TAPPS Track & Field Championships. Only a junior, she's hoping to repeat this feat her senior year!
